Leonard William Palmer (26 Feb 1936 - 7 Jan 2021)

Although we met only briefly more recently, both Len & Lee made us most welcome at their home. A lot of chat reminiscing mainly childhood days; of Beckway Street/ East Lane and other places around Walworth. A lot of vital information was exchanged of our greater family history. Len's schooling and early life made for fascinating listening because it was his side of things that I had never heard before. Having viewed the photos posted on this site, the family resemblances still carry on through the generations.

Remembering you Len, a kind, patient, interesting man with a great sense of humour. Although we only met a few times you left a lasting impression on us. We’ll always remember the fascinating chats we had at family gatherings reminiscing about The Palmers and The Crooks, the stories you would tell us about the family, Nell, Renee, Jesse and all the brothers. We shall always remember you and be forever grateful that we did know you. RIP Len love Stephanie and John Partridge

Len was an amazing man, kind and so inquisitive about the world. I always came away from spending time with him more excited about life.

Uncle Len  will always  be in our hearts and minds. We have so many lovely memories of the time spent with him.  Uncle Len also had the most wicked sense of humour and we loved the wild times! Always curious with us in such a kind and thoughtful way he shared his intelligence and encouraged us to explore, question and learn.  So generous with his time and energy and always thinking of family, he was a very unique person and special Uncle to us all.
