In loving memory of Susan Delyth O'Kelly who sadly passed away on 20th December 2020

Known by all of her friends and family as Delyth, she was born on the 21st of June 1949 in Morriston, Swansea to mother and father, Julie and Denzil and was an only child. She was educated at Gowerton girls school. Delyth moved on to have numerous jobs, eventually marrying Frankie where she settled down becoming a devoted mother and housewife.
Delyth and Frankie were married in Swansea in 1967 going on to have three sons. Living in Swansea for the earlier part of her life where Christopher and Paul were born and later the family moved to Barry where Jonathan was born.
Delyth was a huge fan of tennis and would stay up until the early hours of the morning to watch the overseas tournaments live. She loved to read and would go through book after book. Delyth loved her family dearly and would enjoy whenever the family got together to celebrate special occasions. She had a huge personality and was always the life and soul of the party. She loved to laugh and there was never a dull moment if she was around. She would love it when her and Frankie would go to tenby, taking all the grandchildren with them. Then later on in life her and Frankie would enjoy numerous holidays abroad but her favourite place of all was Benidorm.
Delyth was a loving caring person, devoted wife, mother and friend and will be missed. Delyth leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband Frankie, three sons, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, further family and friends.

I completely lucked out having Delyth as my mother in law, she was also a friend and I could tell her anything, I adored her, she was a absolute scream, from our holiday to Florida where we never stopped laughing, how many people could go away just you, your mother in law and 3 kids and have a absolute blast, many holidays to the Gower and nights out and our regular chats on the phone I miss you already, sleep tight xxx

Entering the new year doesn't feel the same without you. Our hearts are broken, you've left a space that will never be filled again. Still doesn't feel real, you really were the glue that kept our family together. Our worlds will never be the same again. Sleep tight Nanny Del ❤

Delyth, there was only one like you! such a lovely and fun person, with a laugh that could fill a room! One of my first memories of you, I was 16yrs at the time, was making me processed cheese sandwiches (which I still love!) and a flask of iced water to take to a motocross event, as I had a raging hangover!!
It was you who bought me my first bottle of Eternity perfume, and many years later, it is the only scent I wear.
We also had a mutual love of the soap 'Pobol y Cwm' and we would discuss the latest goings on in Cwm Deri! (Gary Monk is alive and back with a vengeance!) We even went on a tour of the studios for your Birthday, which will hold precious memories for me and Àine.
But most of all, your family meant everything to you, and your generosity was limitless, you have left a void in our world. You are loved and missed beyond words, Lou, Chris, Àine, Róisín & Ruadhàn xxxx
