Gran - I’m so grateful that I got to spend so much time with you over the past couple of years while at uni in York. I always looked forward to coming to see you, you would always be ready with a cup of tea and lots of helpful advice! Yes, we shall certainly miss our school friend Ann who, during the last few years, has together with other Old Maltonians entertained us so royally on several occasions during the last few years. What good fun as girls we had in the Girl Guides especially at camp and what enjoyment we shared on the hockey field during our reign of success. Rest in Peace Ann you were a very 'good sort'.

Such a lovely photo of Ann on her 70th Birthday. Such a shame she couldn’t quite make her 80th. Will be thinking of all the family tomorrow and also Wednesday.
