Glyn Morgan Jones (24 Jul 1948 - 21 Nov 2020)

In loving memory of Glyn Morgan Jones who sadly passed away on 21st November 2020.

Dad was described by his cousin as 'one of the best', and this cannot be more true. He went above and beyond for his family, from taking Samuel and me to the park at the end of a long day of work, to patiently (and perhaps bravely) allowing us to practise driving in his car.

Dad worked for many years for Nottingham City Council as a lighting engineer. He oversaw the streetlights in Nottingham, and even organised the lights at Christmas. In Decembers, on the way home from Grandma's house in the dark, I remember that we used to take a detour through the city centre to see the Christmas lights and all of Dad's hard work.

Dad was a fantastic photographer, conducted extensive research into his family tree, and enjoyed watching Formula One. He also enjoyed sailing when he was younger.
