In loving memory of Rosina Ball who sadly passed away on 7th November 2020, aged 88 years. Loved and missed by all her family and friends.

Mum had lived independently up until 3 1/2 years ago when sadly she had emergency bowel surgery leaving her with a stoma and unable to manage her new condition by herself. Her day to day care was taken over by Rosehill Nursing Home in Dorking who looked after her with care, affection and lots of laughter. Her stoma however did cause a lot of distress for her. If only we had known about Colostomy UK to provide advice for those who live with a stoma. This is what Colostomy UK say about their charity and how they use donations.

"Where Colostomy UK can and does support, is in providing practical advice to better help people manage their stoma both day to day and where things go wrong, so for example in managing conditions like sore skin, or leakage, preventing hernias from developing, advice on diet & nutrition, or exercise, and providing emotional support from volunteers who live with a stoma themselves"

Thank you for your donation.
