Diane Penelope Scarlett (28 Sep 1937 - 23 Oct 2020)

To Pete and family, Penny was great friends with my Mum when she lived in Carlisle in the 1960s and they kept that friendship going throughout the years that followed until my mum passed in 2015. Penny was always kind to me and my brother Stephen and we loved to be in her company . She visited us often in Carlisle with Archie and stayed with Mum and Dad, it was always great to see them both.
We only recently discovered about Penny’s passing and we are so sorry for your loss- a lovely lady who we remember with great fondness . Kindest regards Judith & Stephen Mitchelhill, Carlisle, Cumbria

Rest in peace Auntie P. Will always fondly remember my childhood with you, we had some great times. Hopefully you’ll find peace now with Uncle Arch, Grandma, Grandad and my dad. Lots of love xxx
