David will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

I only just found the very sad news of the passing of gentle bear Dave Markee, the biggest-hearted gentleman musician imaginable. Engineering his album "The Trumpet Call" was one of the best, luckiest and most important experiences in a lifetime in music, and I shall always count myself super-lucky to have met him and worked with him. Thank you for so much, Dave!
