On 26th October 2020, in hospital, of Hanging Heaton, aged 85 years, Mavis, loving and much loved wife of the late Billy, beloved mum of Lesley, Katherine and the late Glenn, dear mother in law of Mick and Kevin, wonderful Grandma to Richard, Nicky, Luke, Abigail, Joe, Billy, Brooke and the late Lee and proud Great Grandma of Tilly, Mollie, Jack, Tommy , Imogene and Olive.
Due to the current guidelines a private family service will be held at Wakefield Crematorium on Wednesday 11th November 2020. Those wishing to watch to webcast please contact George Brooke Ltd.
Donations in memory of Mavis may be made for the benefit of the British Heart Foundation.

Mavis and Billy were my neighbours a few years ago before myself and my family moved, I thought a lot of them both and are deeply saddened to hear the news, we often chatted over the hedges as we were putting out our washing, rest in peace lovely lady 🙏❤️
