What lovely photos of Uncle Ted and his family. It's clear to see he loved and was loved so well, by so many. I can't think of a better celebration of life. Thinking of you all with love and happy memories.
Edward James Kennerley (13 Apr 1924 - 12 Oct 2020)
In loving memory of Ted, who died peacefully on 12th October 2020, aged 96.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War and became an electrical and mechanical engineer.
A small family funeral will take place on 26th October and is being broadcast online.
No flowers please, but donations for a memorial bench, if desired, to Darren MacDonald Funeral Directors, Salisbury.

Noah thanking his great grandfather for passing on his fine motor skills and his brilliant mind (seems to have skipped his daddy, though!)

From 2015 - wearing the coat that all those who served were given on returning to civilian life. It kept pretty well!

The last time I saw Grampi in person. We shared a very special moment when he asked me if I was happy and it was lovely to be able to reply that yes, I truly am.

A sweet photo from 2015 -- with a certain photo crasher in the corner!
