In loving memory of Gerald (Gerry) Brolly who sadly passed away on 30th September 2020, aged 78 years.

Gerald will be received into St Mirin RC Cathedral at 6.30pm on Tuesday 20th October.

So sorry to hear about your dad passing so soon after my own dad Peter who was a great friend of big Gerry. I knew him for quite a few years myself as I had a pint or two with him and my dad in the Afton and the Wig and Pen. My mother also wishes to pass her condolences...RIP

  • Hi Stephen, thank you that is really nice of you, I met your Dad a few times when dropping my Dad off or picking him up from the Afton, I used to say they were like Jack and Victor, well let's hope there's another place they are both away too and knowing them they will have found another pub 😃 thank you Stephen for sharing your memories and can you tell your Mum also thank you x

Michael, Susan and young Michael and my brother John

Susan and I had the pleasure of meeting Gerald and Rose and you 3 "young ones" back in 1992 along with my dad who was Gerald's cousin and Bernie Brolly, also Gerald's cousin who was over from Ireland with her son James. Susan and I had the pleasure of meeting Gerald again in 1994 when he very kindly attended my own dad's funeral where he was able to meet my big brother John again after many years.
