William Daly (6 Mar 1943 - 26 Aug 2020)

Many happy years listening to Billy when he was out & about in his cab working through GB3MP, he kept more people tuned to that repeater than anyone I know or ever will, a great chap & a real gentleman, met him many times, so sad to hear he has passed away.

I used to listen to Billy every night in my formative radio years. He was always entertaining and above all else, kind. RIP Billy.

My Grandad was so much more than a grandad to me.
All his life he looked after & provided for his family.
He was always there for friends & family, he would do anything for anyone & never let you down.

I will cherish all the memories I have growing up on his house - Listening to him on the radio every night G 0 S X A Or the trips in the taxi to see the Christmas lights.

Watching him at New Years Eve parties so happy to have family & friends surrounding him who he loved and cared for.
