In fond remembrance of Jessie, a family friend for decades. She and her late husband Malc, had visited our family in Northamptonshire on many occasions and spent memorable holidays in Scotland with my parents. Scotland being a firm favourite with them all.
Jessie was a private person who had endured many tragedies in her life but had remained stoical and resourceful. She loved her home and garden which she tried to keep in good order, despite her failing health. I have great respect for her endurance. I will miss our phone calls very much.
Rest in Peace Jessie.
