Remember your Mum and Dad very well. Really made us feel special when we had our first child Thomas. So much love and affection to our little boy at the time. We didn't have any family but feel blessed to be part of the family of Gez and Maz as we know them at GMC news. Wonderful family. Never forgotten 30 years on xx

Many condolences to Gerrys family, he was such a big part of the community of Highbury Vale, my children’s pocket money usually was spent in the shop on the way to school. The whole family are such kind caring people too.

Gerry was a Newsagent legend! I did a paper round at the shop when I was a young girl and went on to help out at the shop on occasion (before my sis went on to marry Gerry’s son Chris). Gerry was such a lovely man, I remember him working in the shop, then his political career. He was always happy to stop and say hello. Rest in peace Gerry xx love to all the family xx Kerry, Dale and boys xx
