Marie was very special, funny, smart, always creative, inspirational, never forgotten. We hadn't seen Marie in a while but were planning to rectify that when we heard the news...much love to Brian and family, Peter & Helen x

Marie was so full of life and such passion for making the most of it, so many plans for the future including developing her textile business 'Vintage Queen'. I first got to know Marie when she was working at Arnold library and I was working nextdoor at the Connexions office. We chatted regularly and laughed a lot together. Then Marie and Brian were an item and we knew Brian from his time in Sullivan's Sword team. Such a devasting and sudden loss. Love and condolences to Brian and Marie's family and friends. All of us on the Jazz Steps Committee send our heartfelt condolences. Marie's ever-enthusiastic, creative 'can-do' approach and bubbly personality was a positive driving force right from the outset of our collaboration on Jazz Steps Live At The Libraries. Her involvement has enabled audiences to enjoy many wonderful gigs for which we are all very grateful.

Marie was a vibrant lady with a colourful and unique way of dressing and personalising her outfits. My thoughts are with her loved ones at this time.

Although sadly we met for the briefest of moments Marie, on that most joyous of occasions last year, full of love, I feel that I have known you, and that wonderful smile, all of my life. You will be in my heart forever. Elaine x
