In loving memory of Mark Hopkins who sadly passed away on 5th August 2020.
Mark was just the best husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend and he was loved by all. He fought a courageous battle with cancer over the last 8 months, he was so brave but always had a smile on his face no matter what he had to face.
Mark's funeral will be held at midday on Friday 28th August at Kingsdown Crematorium. We will be leaving from our home in Aldbourne at approximately 11 am via Aldbourne Village Square and then via The Wheatsheaf pub on Ermin Street. Obviously we are limited to the numbers that can attend and so we will be having a live stream for those that are unable to attend in person. Mark, we had great time's growing up around Aunty Margaret's house with all the Rowe's, Cole's and Hopkin's families. We later enjoyed playing football for the New Inn, we had a reunion recently in The Plough Old Town reminiscing. It was great fun talking rubbish ending with a good old sing song. You'll be greatly missed R I P.

Mark...I always used to look forward to going to the crown on a Saturday night for meat draw. You made me laugh and giggle. You will be sadly missed by so many of us. You were such a character. Sending all love all my love to the family.

I was so sorry to hear of Mark’s passing and my deepest condolences go to his family. The photo was taken on a junior school trip to Weston. We had occasionally bumped into each other at school reunions and Grange Community Centre at Christmas xx
