John helping to let light into my garden by pruning away branches that were too encroaching. He was a great support.

In fond memory of my neighbour John who often helped me in my garden, clipping hedges & pruning branches, and even dug a grave for my last cat Misty when I couldn't dig deeply enough. He will be much missed, but will be no longer in pain. I pray that his widow, my friend Pat, may find comfort and strength during this difficult experience of separation. My condolences to his daughters too. Photo is of him pruning one of my laurels.

In fond memory of my neighbour John who often used to help me in my garden, clipping hedges & pruning branches, and also dug the grave for my last cat Misty when I could not dig down deeply enough. Now no longer in pain but missed by many people. I pray that his widow Pat may find comfort and strength during this most difficult separation.

I’m so sorry to hear that John has passed away. He was a large part of my early days in the police . And although he scared me at first as a young 18 year old probationer.. it didn’t take me long to realise he was a gentle giant. I’m thinking of you all. My best wishes. Jo. Xxx
