John Allen Busbridge (1 Sep 1947 - 1 Aug 2020)

In loving memory of John Allen Busbridge who sadly passed away on 1st August 2020, aged 72 years.

John was born in Sittingbourne in 1947. He moved with his parents to Kemsley to live with his nan after his grandad died. The bungalow they lived in had been built by his grandad. Later his brother, David, and sister, Christine, were born and they all lived together until John left when he got married.
He spent most of his working life at Akzo Nobel where he held a variety of managerial posts until they closed down in 2003.
John was dad to three daughters, Rachel, Sharon and Mel and grandad to George, Tommy, Poppy and Luke.
He was passionate about golf and had a golf swing envied by many. In the last few years he had taken up learning to play the ukulele and enjoyed singing along when he was practising.
In 2004 he met Gail, his partner, and they spent their lives together sharing love, enjoying holidays and each other’s company until he died.
