Dad,
I going to miss you so much, and there will not be a day where I don't think of you. I will forever cherish all the memories we have. You and mum have made me the man I am today, and I obviously learnt from the best. I am honoured to be your son.
Not only were you a great Dad, you were such a loving Grandad, and the kids will miss you so much.
Seeing all the lovely tributes over the last week shows just how loved and respected you really were, and I have never felt so proud.

I will love and miss you forever xx
Love you dad, sleep tight.
Your boy Scotty x x x

Butch was not only a great football player, but a true gentleman.
My first memory with Butch was when Fisher were playing at Mitcham and he was going to play centre forward.
He walked into the dressing room - straight from work and his working boots were covered in tarmac and falling apart. But, he was carrying a pair of football boots in his hands that were in a worse state than the pair he had on! - studs we’re missing and laces in only 2 or 3 holes!!
Considering we’d never met him before - we’re thinking “what have we got here”
He got changed, boots on, ran out on to the pitch.......
Well, he got three that day!! - what a great centre forward.
Happily I had many of seasons with Butch, before he went on to Bromley FC - where I believe he still holds records for scoring so many goals in so few games.
God Bless Butch.
Your old pal, Bricey. X

Dearest Butch,
Thank you so much for welcoming me in to your family. You have always made me feel loved, You and Sheila have raised a great family, and I'm lucky to be part of it. You loved your Grandchildren dearly as they did you, and would always make them laugh.
You have such wonderful boys, and they both are such loving, caring Husband's and fathers. They are a real credit to you.
I shall miss you making me laugh, especially when winding up Sheila!
You will be forever in my heart.
Please don't worry about Sheila, we will look after her.
