Neil Andrew Watson (6 Feb 1956 - 26 Jun 2020)

In loving memory of Neil Andrew Watson who sadly passed away suddenly on 26th June 2020.

Neil was born on the 6th February 1956 his parents were the late Sam and Betty Fretwell, he had an older sister Linda. Sam Sadly passed away when Neil was just 1yr old and his mum married again to Brian Watson.

Neil met Elaine in 1971 in Huddersfield, they courted for a few years before marrying On the 15th October 1977 at Kirkheaton parish church.
Leanne Karen, Niels first daughter was born on 6th January 1979, and his 2nd daughter Kirsty Elizabeth was born 26th December 1982.
Neils 1st home with his family was in Lowerhouses, until they moved to Dalton to be nearer his mum and dad.

Neil had 4 grandchildren who he was devoted to. Callum Joel, Olivia Siobhan, Maisie Libby and Leyton Miles. He gave them all pet names Our Dave, our Olive, our Mavis and R 500.
Neil was a kind man and would do anything for anyone he had a wicked sense of humour and will be desperately missed by his family and everyone who loved him.
