John in June 2014, Le Corners pub in Albert, Somme, France. I remember he slightly mispronounced the name when he ordered the 2nd round!

Our dear friend and close neighbour John will be greatly missed. He was a friend to all and such a lovely smile. We will miss you John going by our house on your bike every day in your shorts - forever a postman.

Good times spent with John visiting the Royal Engineers Museum, the Historic Dockyard and many military lectures. A great friend who will be sadly missed.
Rest in the peace you deserve John.
