My mum, known to the world as 'Ros' sadly passed away on 5th June 2020. She was a lovely person who enjoyed life and the company of others. Her captivating and generous spirit drew people to her and she made many, many friends over the course of her lifetime.

She lived life to the full; her life was an unusual one in many ways; she had a strong sense of independence and a determination to enjoy life. As well as being a Member of Subud for many years, where she made numerous lifelong friends, she attempted living self-sufficiently, developed a Muesli making business, and practised homeopathy at various points in her life.

She was warm, generous, content with her life and she was the best role model for me throughout her life. I will miss her deeply, as we all will, but she would want us to celebrate her life and remember her for the good times we spent with her, and she with us.

My Mum did not want flowers and has asked that donations are made instead to Subud Norwich. This can be done by through the link to Shayne Stork funerals, 104-106 Sprowston Road, Norwich, NR3 4QW [01603 702702] elsewhere on this page.

Or a bank payment can be made to the following:

Account Name: Subud Norwich
Sort Code: 20-77-75
Account Number: 10879207

The Funeral will be available on line - link to follow. Unfortunately, attendance at events such as these remains limited and so please do not just turn up to the ceremony unless you have received a specific invitation.

Love from Lou/Lucien.

Ros was a wonderful friend. Generous, understanding, supportive, fun to be with. We shared many interests and good times in Norwich. She was certainly a role model to me with her independent spirit, warm positive attitude to people and life generally. I will miss her dearly.

Ros was a wonderful role model, as a strong independent woman. She was happy to take an alternative approach and hold alternative views, not constrained by tradition. We used to enjoy trips to Norfolk from a very youg age, a place where priorities seemed different from London, which was surely a good thing. Ros was in our lives right from the start. We got used to her change of name, which I know Mum found a bit harder to remember intially. But every visit would reveal new interests or new travels.
She will be missed.

My two sisters and I were blessed with Aunts on both parent's sides that were loving, interested, involved and thoughtful. They were all people well worth talking and especially listening to.
Ros was very much in this mould, to which you can easily add eclectic, independent, interesting and caring.
She was the last in her family from a fine generation and will be missed even from the other side of the world.
