Michael Conway, a beloved husband, Dad and Grandad sadly passed away on 1st May at 16.22. He had contracted Covid 19.
His loves in life were his family, cycling and Wolves F.C. He fought bravely for 26 days in intensive care but just couldn't get over the last hill. We as a family are overwhelmed with the care, love and support from all the doctors, nurses and family liaison team from the intensive care unit at East Surrey Hospital during those long painful days, there really are no words. There are too many names to mention here but a special mention must go to Dr Samuel who delivered the news to us, that final day and to Sister Bex who went over and beyond to make sure we were all with Dad during those final moments. We will never forget that.
We as a family have decided no flowers please but if you feel you want to do something please donate here to East Surrey Hospital in Dad's name.
