In loving memory of Elizabeth Lee who sadly passed away on Saturday 4th April 2020, aged 60 years. Wife, Mother and Grandma who will never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed by all her family, friends and everyone who knew her, leaving a lasting memory on every one she touched. Known for her witty remarks and quick tongue the conversations will never be the same.

Fondly known as 'Liz' or 'Lizzie' to her closest few she was never one to shy away from a challenge, always there to help, she spent that last few years of her working life supporting and fundraising for local charities. A result of this it was Lizzie's wish that her friends and family instead of buying flowers put that money towards a charity of her choice.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday 29th April for restricted close family only. The Family have decided to hold a memorial later on in the year when everyone is able to meet and celebrate her life and the many lives she has changed throughout.

Thank you for the kind messages and letters received during this challenging time.

In a blink of an eye over 40 years have passed since we first met at Lloyd’s of London.
You as a 19 year old and, both embarking on our careers with the world at our feet.
We shared some lovely unforgettable moments. Many of them became the basis for us to continue making memories that we so often looked back on.
Our friendship grew into something neither of us could have ever have expected culminating in us both having children that now have friendships I know will be as good as ours.
The only time I saw you happier than when you met and married Brian was, on the birth of Jacob, my godson.
We have celebrated christenings, birthdays, dinner parties, hen parties, bbq’s and just spontaneous get togethers.
Even Christmas in Belgium at 14 degrees below.
It didn’t stop us shopping with the children and taking them to the Grand Place on Christmas Eve to see The Nativity with real animals and, hot chocolate after. Truly unforgettable.
I’m so glad to have shared these special moments with you and, will always have the fondest thoughts of our times together.
Our lives crossed for a much shorter time than I could have ever imagined...
Until we meet again my friend....

Oh Liz, I just cannot believe you are gone. You and Brian came into our lives for a very good reason, but the reason you have been taken away from us far too soon will remain unknown. Your big kind hearted nature will live on in your family and every person you have touched along your journey. You are going to be missed more than you’ll ever know. I still have the message you sent to me the day before you passed. And in true Liz style, it makes me smile because I can see you chuckling away at it!
Sleep in peace Liz. All our love Billy, Rachel, Caleb & Amber xxxx ❤️

Dear, darling Liz we have been friends as well as cousins all our lives. So many memories both in England and in Malta. You were a ray of sunshine, a positive energy, a joy to know. Your love for you family was matched only by your willingness to help anyone who needed it. Your legacy lives on in those who love you. I will miss you with all my heart.

Aunty Liz
I can’t believe you’re gone. I will always have fond memories of great dinners at your house and riding the quad across the fields. Your sense of humour matched my own. But mostly I will miss your care and love you showed my family and how no matter what your arms were always open. Sleep well auntie, say hi to dad for me. Love you always.

I first met Liz in 1983 when I met and married her brother Colin in 1984. Sadly Colin passed away in 2007. Liz and Brian were always there at that time with enormous support. I will always remember our family gatherings where Liz was warm and generous with her hospitality. Her wonderful wit, which I loved and humour in abundance will never be forgotten. I will always remember her laughing.
