Ash,

So many memories of growing up living on the same street, tormented Hollie and me when all we wanted to do was go to the Gatecrasher with you .But, you being you finally caved and let us sell tickets on the door at Camelot’s on one of you’re gigs and bought us a pizza for it-cheers Ash.
You told some of the best jokes and some of the worst but always made everyone around you smile.
I will always remember you Ash, thinking of you and you’re beautiful family . Sleep tight ❤️

Wishing you a farewell today mate. So many great memories growing up, 25 years since me you and Ben head down the snicket for our first day of secondary school together. I remember the summer holiday before playing in the plantation and you trying to hide up a tree, falling 20ft and getting straight up and carried on, how you didn't break anything I don't know. Glad I bumped into you not long ago, gutted we can't meet for the beer. Will have one in your name today mate. Rest in Peace.

Ash,

Prendy where do I start.
You was one of my closest mates right from the beginning as a 4 year old at Edo Hall school & I still considered you as my closest mate that I’d had the pleasure of growing up with and still kept in touch.
Everywhere I’ve been, wondering around the village just lately has brought back countless memories from our childhood. Making dens in the woods, marathon bike rides, playing footie at Edo park, if it wasn't footie it was a big game of jungle Jim on the climbing frame or leaping from the swings into a massive pile of hay we’d gathered from the ploughed field, then all going for ice pops from VG.
My house now backs onto Edo Hall & I can still picture you running round the playground shooting people with your pretend gun making machine gun noises while we played footie with a sponge ball. Always a bit different & unique in your own way but that never bothered you. It was your daft personality & silly behaviour making a fool out of yourself that got a laugh from everybody.
Times when you thought it would be funny to dive into a pile of nettles, hedge or thorn bush just for the fun of it.
We shared the love of Football, friendly Leeds / Sheff Weds banter & occasionally reminisced past good times with the likes of Gilles de Bilde, Carlton Palmer n the likes.
And the many years playing for Edo Cougars under your Dads leadership. Greyhound, always laying into you for letting in yet another goal through your hands or under your legs after all he’d taught you in training to put your body behind the ball. It was the same still at Waggies FC. Great keeper always reliable just prone to the odd mistake which is what we all remembered you for haha, as we do for all keepers that make the odd blunder.

Then there was the drinking, clubbing & music. A quiet Ale down the local discussing life, beers round a campfire, Tesco field Fridays during school, Wednesday nights at Karisma through sixth form, Gatecrasher or the odd trance night I occasionally visited on my return from Leeds in our Uni / College days.
Where most drifted apart, always made the effort to stay in touch.
Used to make my day when you popped into Waggies of late for a few pints of Caffreys, chatting about beards, family life & persuading me to playing 5a side.
You got me into Trance music, sitting in your attic room hours on end listening to tunes or trying to produce one on your PC.

My best memories would be of the most recent hikes & camping trips me u n our Luke. He looked up to you, making use of all those years at scouts it was like being in the company of Bear Grylls.

Always an adventure, a mission to be had, always a laugh & you was a pleasure to be around. You introduced me to a lot of new things & a lot of new people as our circle of friends beyond school got bigger.

Mate, thank you for the memories. I could go on. I’m absolutely gutted we can’t make anymore but the ones I have will stay with me forever.

You were an inspiration to many & you’ve left a lasting legacy to everyone who knew you. You have done all your family proud & I’m sure I speak for everyone, we were all proud to have you as a mate. Will miss you fella!

Love to all the family.
Thinking of you all!
Stubs x

No one can argue you that you lived your life to the full.
The ball was bursting at the seems with your strive for knowledge especially when you bought the house.
You were a kind caring and so thoughtful person always offering a helping hand to everyone and your memory will live on in everyone you touched.
A loving partner ,Dad, Brother and I am immensely proud to call you my son.
The room lit up when you entered it people didn't know what to expect but they knew it was going to be CRAZY! You achieved so many things in your life.
As parents we are so so proud we have raised such a good man.
Our Memories and Love will never cease.
Rest in peace our lovely boy xxx
