In loving memory of Stephen John Allen who sadly passed away on 20th March 2020 at Cynthia Spencer Hospice following a short but brave battle against his illness. Father to Brent and Christy, good friend to many, Steve will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Especially his Tuesday night drinking buddies and those friends both old and new who got to know Steve over the years through the Northern Soul scene across the country.

A few words from Welland Gliding Club to express our deepest regret on Steve's passing, even worse as we can't be at the funeral to mark his life at this very difficult time for the whole country. Steve was in the car when we visited Bridlington a few years ago on a day off from a gliding competition, and he remembered being there many years ago for a 4-day soul festival - that's when I realised how passionate he was about his music. Steve was a quiet but dedicated member of the Club and we will miss him
