Again I sit here Tom with such a heavy heart, you never leave my mind, from the second I wake, to the moment I close my eyes, every second I miss you.
Yesterday we said our ‘official goodbyes’, without all the people that needed to be there, it was the hardest day of my life, I didn’t think my heart could break anymore than it already had, but to watch all of your loved ones, mum and dad, ted and Emma, Paul and Dan, myself, fall to pieces, is something I shall never forget. But I felt you standing there outside in the gardens, I looked for you but I couldn’t see you, but you were there I know that.

You were so SO loved, to say that you shall be missed so much is just words. It’s the biggest understatement. I just want to call you. I just want to come and see you. Stand and have a laugh with you and feel the now mediocre troubles fall away. You made the world, my world a better place. You were the best person I knew. You’ve taken the biggest piece of my heart with you, and I shall miss you more than you’ll ever know, every single day.

❤️❤️❤️

To Toms family and dear friends, I will be thinking of you all tomorrow, and in the many days, and years ahead.
With a heavy heart, I will pay my respects and remember Tom without you, but I hope one day soon, we can all come together and celebrate a life, that all of ours, would have not been the same without.

To Ben and Heidi. Your Daddy would always speak of you both, every conversation we had. May you carry that unique smile with you always.

Dear Tom. Music bought us together and still after all the fun of college, you always found time to be that special friend to me. I wish we had more recent memories together, but the ones I do have, will stay with me always, and remind me to not stop, until I am proud. x

Our elderly neighbours at no. 60 sold their house many years ago to a lovely young couple who brought with them ‘3 young rogues’ Tom, Caroline and Ted. We watched with great interest over the years as they developed into 3 very close, very friendly, very polite, very loving individual adults , always willing to have a chat to any of us at no. 58 over the garden fence.
Therefore, this message has been written with such deep sadness that Tom, loving rogue no. 1, has been taken away from all his precious family and friends way too soon.
Rest in peace Tom.
Love from Philip, Pauline, Mark and Dawn
and all their families. xxxx

Tom,
I am still lost for words. As a young kid, I always looked up to you when I saw you at Paul’s or your grandmas, and loved hearing Paul talk about everything you did. I will always cherish the day I got to ride the open top bus with you as you rocked out some tunes - definitely one of my fondest childhood memories. Then after you tried teaching me how to play guitar - unfortunately I was no musician! Every time I met you, you brought a smile to the room I was in.
Rest in peace, and keep making people smile up there ❤️

As I said to Caroline when I heard, I was genuinely gutted to hear of your passing Tom. You and your sister were a huge part of our lives growing up on Bank Walk and it was an incredibly happy childhood that’s for sure. Equally when we had barely spoken since school, we could sit and have a few beers at the Beacon when I lived on Beam Hill and it was like no time had passed at all. I was tidying up today and found some pictures from Beavers and Cubs. Seeing them I just had to share them too.
Rest in peace mate.
Liam

Tom you were a founding member of our small but large organisation of fellows, the BROADS , we had the world all summed up with our broad ways.
I will miss not being able to carry on making all this crazy stuff up with you anymore, and laughing about the stupidness of it all.
1 day we will meet again and can talk all the same stuff we did before, and laugh about it all over again like we did back in the day.
Until that day I will always think of you when I listen to the twang be it , either way or Barney rubble, or on those hot days when I’m drinking a pint in the beer garden at the spread. None of it will ever be the same but I’ll always do it and think of you. Top man you BROAD LEGEND !

love from early D
