In loving memory of Nicholas Owen Lance who sadly passed away on 18th December 2019, aged 87 years.
He will be dearly missed by all his loving family and friends.
A service of 'Thanksgiving' for his life will be held at St. Mary's Church, Chalk, Nr Gravesend, on Saturday 15th February 2020 at 2.00pm.

Dear Nick
Thank you for being my big brother for all of my 74 years.
I'm sorry that we could not attend your funeral, but you know I will never forget you.
I will always remember our early years in the late 1940's and 50's at Elmhurst poultry farm,with you playing the accordion in our bedroom and me holding the sheet music,cleaning the buttons on your RAF great coat with Brasso when you were home on leave, whilst you were out dancing with Beryl!, riding pillion on your motor bike at age 7/8 with no crash helmets of course, being very quiet and shading the light in our bedroom after your crash on ice one morning going to work.
Your life was saved by the skill of a lady Chinese doctor at Brook Hospital, Woolwich after suffering a fractured skull 66 years ago.
You have had a great life after the accident, and one year later you married Beryl in Tenterden Parish Church and it is so fitting that 65 years after you married Beryl in the above church, 8 years after Beryl was buried also at this church, you are now having your funeral at this same church.
God bless dear Bruv and be at rest with Beryl.
