Hello,
I knew Alan at Huntingdon Grammar School, we often used to sit together, I loved his quips & dry humour, & although we were poles apart in many ways, he was scientific & clever, I was athletic & wayward, but we seemed to develop a bond together that I have always remembered, even though we lost touch after leaving HGS, so much so that during this virus I thought of him & Googled him, only to find to my great sadness that he had died earlier this year, I sincerely wish that I had done this earlier. I see that he had done well in life & left a very fine & caring family & friends. I send my condolences to you all.

With such rapid advances in technology it's sometimes difficult to appreciate that you introduced our family to such things as the tape recorder, the video cassette, and most importantly mayonnaise on our chips.
R.I.P. and thanks for all the support you gave our family over the years. You will always be with us in our heart.

You went too soon, before your time. We never got to say goodbye.
The happy times we shared, in places far and near.
You were my everything, I will always love and miss you x

Words will never fully be able to express the sadness I feel right now, and the fact that we never got to say goodbye to you.
I couldn’t have wished for a better dad, just wish we’d had more time together.
Miss you dad x
Lee
