In loving memory of Margaret Winifred Adlington who sadly passed away on 22nd December 2019. A dearly loved Mum of Julie Mother in law of Jim and Nanna of Niall, She will be sadly missed by all.

Mum spent the last 2 years of her life in Beechdale Manor Care Home. She passed away peacefully of old age and progressive dementia. The dementia sadly took hold over the last 3 years of her life but was cared for and treated with the utmost dignity by staff at Beechdale Manor. She had a lovely room, was comfortable and well looked after. She enjoyed looking out onto the garden, watching the squirrels and sought out the company of other residents when she wanted to for a bit of a gossip. I believe the activities and company at the home helped to keep Mum's mind stimulated, so special thanks to those who encouraged Mum to join in and take part in the various activities.

We will miss you Mum but you will always be in our thoughts and hearts.

Julie, Jim and Niall xxx

Dementia is a cruel illness - it can rob you of your most precious memories. Research has come a long way in slowing it down - let’s hope more can be done to stop it altogether. Julie and Jim xx
