Noel, our brother-in-law. A polite, kind, helpful man, always happy and smiling; never saw him in a bad mood. One of our early memories: you driving us to our wedding in a superb red Jaguar. The last time we saw you: QA Hospital, a year ago. You wanted us to drive you home. In between, a fond memory of a birthday breakfast for Danièle in the Golf Club restaurant, looking out at the sea.
We'll miss you, Noel.

Dear Noel

I remember with fondness your happy smiling face and generosity at so many places including the shop at the top of Hampshire Terrace, Seacourt and the golf club. You will be a useful addition to the Elysian Fields in all of these activities.

Noel. Farewell old friend. We had a long run together and I always appreciated your company in many aspects - sport, France, camping, post sport beers, music and your knowledge of jazz which I had to learn. Thankyou also for your generous help in these last 3 or 4 years when I ceased to be able to transport myself. We also still have a fair amount of your paint around the house. Tessa and I will always miss you. Colin.

Dear Noel,

You were an inspiration to me growing up as someone who was forever approachable, good spirited, kind-hearted, passionate for photography, fast cars, your family and of course, the reason our families came together – the beloved badminton.
You'll be missed by many and remembered by more.

Rest in peace.
Andy

Dear Noel,

Your parting leaves us with many magical memories both on and off theBadminton and Tennis court and the Golf course. Thank you for your energy, dedication and commitment in helping establish The Seacourt Club in its infancy.

Importantly, you leave a lasting legacy with the wonderful sporting photographs taken of star players at Seacourt over a great many years. Ever modest, it is not generally known you provided the photographs in Chris Ronaldson's teaching - 'Tennis, A Cut Above The Rest'.

Thanks for your good companionship - a true friend to so many.

God speed

Nick Danby

Dear Noel
We had so many good times with you and Sheila and you helped me at Seacourt in the 70's and early 80's. I enjoyed the trips to the jazz each month a few years ago. You will be remembered with love by us both.
