Violet Houghton (7 Jun 1930 - 18 Dec 2019)

In loving memory of Violet Houghton who sadly passed away on 18th December 2019 . Better known as Mavis to family and friends, she lived in Clifton with husband Alan until they both retired to Mablethorpe. After her husband died she remained on the coast with friends and her hobbies indoor bowling and bingo. She returned back to Nottingham due to failing health to live with daughter Jane and son in law Alan. Mavis was diagnosed with dementia six months prior to her death.
