My dearest sister, Beryl. I will miss you so much. Our calls, with you saying, "You all right?"
We laughed, now I cry. I know you wouldn't want too, but that's me.
Remembering all the good times. The best sister anyone could have.
Remembering your laughter that turned into hysterical tears over Max Wall all those years ago.
No more suffering. Mum and Dad are waiting.
Until we meet again.
Rest in peace.

Nan, or better known as Catherine tate nan. There are no words that can describe the sorrow that I feel deep down inside, but I know what you would be telling me to do, and that would be to not dwell on the heart ache but to laugh. As you told me many times, enjoy life be happy because your on this earth for a lifetime, not a long time. You have always been a very "matter of fact" lady, who wouldnt take sh*t and would always laugh even at the most inappropriate times.
We had a relationship simular to the catherine tate shows, where the nan and the grandson would be having the most bizzare outrageous conversations, whilst grandad was shaking his head muttering " you two are unbeliveable". So many times I was told, "you can't speak to your nan like that" which always followed by me and you laughing.
There are so many priceless stories I have of you, which I will look back on and laugh at.
We had our moments of confrontation but they were short, few and far between, but whatever we had on our minds we knew we could say it to eachothers face, without offending each other.
I am going to miss you, not only has a nan, but a best friend, and the "alright sweetheart" greeting you gave me.
I have made promises to you, one to upkeep the standards in the bungalow. Two, to look after grandad...and finally one I made and told you in your last hours, and that was to carry you to your final resting place. Tomorrow I will honor that promise and carry you.
You are now at peace, away from the clutches of cancer and a broken body, so look down on us and keep us all safe.
We'll meet again, dont know where dont know when, but i know we'll meet again some sunny day.

I am so sorry to hear of Beryls passing. She really was an amazing lady and I will never ever forgot everything she done for me and how she helped me become the person I am today. She really was a remarkable lady. My thoughts are with Roy and her family xx

What can I say but the world is missing a wonderful woman, kind and friendly. One of the nicest people I have ever met . Always be in my thoughts especially when I hear Tina Turner . Xx
