Danny is noted for researching and recording local history, in particular the Stanton Irons Work of Ilkeston. A great deal of his work has be published and is greatly respected. We salute hime, a legend!

A sad farewell to a boyhood friend, with whom I shared many good times at Stanton Boy's Club and on the soccer and cricket fields at the 'Stute" May he Rest in Peace, with the knowledge that he was much loved and will be greatly missed.
