On 14th May 2019, peacefully in Kirkwood Hospice with her family beside her Cynthia in her 80th year. The dearly loved wife of Bert, special and adored mum of Alison, Rachel and Rebecca, very dear mother in law of Dave and Michael, a proud, devoted and loving grandma of Isaac, Claudia, Sebastian, Amelia, Gabriel and Poppy, a much loved sister of Muriel, auntie, great auntie and good friend to many.
Funeral service at All Hallows’ Church, Almondbury on Friday 7th June at 1.30pm followed by a private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations if wished are to be shared between Kirkwood Hospice and Bloodwise (Leukaemia) c/o Radcliffe Funeral Service, The Lindens, New Road, Kirkheaton, HD5 0JB or a donation box will be available at the service. Will friends please accept this intimation and meet at the Church. Black clothing not necessary.

God bless you Auntie Cynthia. I will miss walking through the woods and visiting you and seeing your beautiful smile and hearing about Berts latest misdemeanor. But most of all I will miss you terribly, my second mum. You were well loved and the Queen of our empire and will be greatly missed by all that knew you. Rest in Peace, Mark.
