oh danny,an allenton legend in many ways was danny.wheni was 13 he jumped in the river trent at swarkstone and saved me from going under in the strong currents as i was sure gonner.i had many wild nights out with danny and a few more of the owd allenton lads from the crown and the mitre.i worked with him on a few building sites and you could be sure we would be having many laughs about various activities .R.I.P danny and who would have thought you would turn into a golfer.?nobody i think.

Hi Linda
So sorry to hear the sad news about Dan. I am in Tenerife till 1st April so sadly won’t be able to attend his funeral. We go back a long way me and Dan and I have some good memories., and bad ones ha ha. Condolences to you and your family xxxx Mick and Jean Fletcher (The Allenton Butchers 1967 )
