To Derek,
I feel like, no matter what I write here, it will be inadequate, the words won’t do you justice. You taught me an awful lot about Boots and the outside world. The hole that has been left behind on the Boots SPD will never be filled. You will be sorely missed.

To Karen and all of Derek’s family,
I offer my condolences. I cannot begin to imagine how you all must feel. Our thoughts are and will be with you all and once again Derek will be sorely missed.

I'll always remember the holiday I had with you and auntie Karen to painton when I was a kid you will be sadly missed hope my dad met you at the pub in the sky and your having a laugh now fly high uncle Derek all my love to family

I worked with Derek at Boots. I always found him to be a cheerful helpful man with a cheeky smile. So sorry to hear of his passing. Best wishes to all the family.
