Mavis Vollans (14 Nov 1941 - 1 Feb 2019)

I hadn’t known Mavis very long but she always greeted me with well wishes , and she had a lovely disposition and hardy nature. Mavis enjoyed her visits to Gloucestershire to visit her Family .
Ally , Paul and Raffety , whom My Family have grown to love and get to Know , and it will be through them that I remember Mavis , for her Warm Smile and kindness and I hope we can together reminisce and continue to find some memories in attending treats like Theatre , Cinema, and Exploring and having fun in the Countryside ..

Mavis, although I only saw you a few times in a year, you always met with me with a massive smile and big hug! I always enjoyed our chats and know that you will now be watching over your family with love. You will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved you.

In Memory of Mave
Mave was a lot of things to a lot of people and I will sadly miss her. A true Lady who wished all well, funny with her own sense of humour that appealed to all, who enjoyed looking around shops and car boots alike and could alway find that certain thing, enjoyed simple pleasures like triple cooked chips and slot machines. Most of all Mave loved her family and friends and that is what I will miss the most.
It is said that the good go too soon and with Mave it was far too soon, but I know you are now on high keeping a watchful eye on us all and if I ever buy that certain thing at some shop I will know that Mave, Mum in Law is close by.

Though I shall never see the sun again say a prayer for me once a year for I shall be with you for ever and a day in mind and sprite be by your side for what ever you do come day or night. For when you sleep the night away I will be by your side to watch over you until morning comes amen..
