What a legend of a man we were privileged to call Gramps.
Always busy, out tending gardens, looking after ‘the old folk’, riding his bike with his helmet on back to front as apparently it was more comfortable 😂, looking out for speed cameras, always up on the dance floor at family celebrations, mastering his now infamous Yorkshire puddings and of course touring with his beloved rabbits and returning with a haul of trophies and rosettes.
The list could go on forever but we’re so grateful for such wonderful memories and the precious 97 and a half years you were here.
Rest in peace with Nannar and Paul xxx
Adored and loved always
Joanne, Phil, Millie and Gracie xxx

What a fantastic man!
An inspiration to the whole family. Such a kind, happy, lovely character who I am proud to have called my Granpa.
So many happy memories and such a big loss to us all, but you can rest now gramps no more gardening or showing (winning) your beloved rabbits.
You will be missed by those you’ve left behind but welcomed by Nanna and Paul.
We are left to celebrate your life and feel privileged to have been part of it.
Love you always Gramps,
Gary, Fiona, Kiera and Harrison xxxxx

  • Sat in this spot now and to say I didn’t know Jack and what I’ve heard he is a true inspiration to me. I’ve took my hands to gardening and working out his layout of planting crops. The soil is so rich here and the birds keep you company. In isolation at the minute I can completely understand being retired and how gardening keeps you busy. The front garden has flowered perfectly with your arrangements. Every day I see the little things that made sense to you and I have now worked out. Joseph and Abby
