Before she was ill, I remember someone with tremendous energy and, yes, she was kind to all sorts of people. It's difficult to see your mother with the eyes of others, but so many people seemed to have treasured her kindness and wisdom. At the moment we are filling the hole with busy-ness but when time passes, we will see her life in greater perspective, and I suspect will be all the richer for it...

Dearest Rosie,
This is a name we affectionately called you as you were named after a lady called Rosa and because of your rosy cheeks! Your big smile and sparkly eyes filled a room. You used to introduce me as 'my baby' which made me feel very proud and special. You will always be in my heart. xx
