In loving memory of the late Anthea Garton Slater who sadly passed away on 12th January 2015

Anthea was a unique and thoughtful person, so giving of her time, care and love, always ready to listen without interrupting and to offer unbiased advice. Her ability to reflect and consider meant that she was never judgemental, but always ready to see the good side in everyone and in every situation. Her kind heart and generous nature will be remembered by all who met her and she will be very greatly missed by family and friends.

She was a beloved mother of Sue, Tim and Brigitte, proud grandmother of Kate, Matthew, Christopher, Rachel and Samantha and delighted great grandmother of Archie; all of whom feel her loss so deeply and so acutely, that it seems as though a fundamental piece of ourselves is missing. Her spirit will live on in our hearts forever.

My heart is broken, but I am thankful for the legacy of love my wonderful Mum left behind and immensely proud to be her daughter. Night night and God Bless, Mum, sleep peacefully xoxoxoxo
