This was from the time my Aunt Shirley came to visit Mummy after her car accident. Although blind and brain damaged, her face lit up when she heard her best friends voice.

This was after my Mummy (Wendy) had her car accident that left her blind and brain damaged. It was wonderful to see her face light up when she recognized her best friend’s voice and listen to them reminisce. They laughed like young school girls.

Although a sad visit bringing Mummy’s ashes back to England, it was bittersweet too. Getting to spend time in a place she grew up and visit with family and friends was wonderful.
