In loving memory of Garry Henry James Brown who sadly passed away on 1st July 2018

Bob Baker donated in memory of Garry

It was fitting that so many people came to say a final goodbye to a truly wonderful man.
I can remember listening to him dealing with complaining customers over the phone. He stopped many complaints going further simply by his manner, while apologising he would also make the person see things from a driver's point of view. Garry went far more than the extra mile when helping drivers get duty changes as he realised there was a life outside of work.
Garry gave love and deserved it, and of course had a great choice of football team. I was so pleased that so many joined in Blue is the Colour and that even rival supporters had put this aside to sing along in respect.
There aren't enough good words to describe him. I know how much he loved his family who will of course miss him dreadfully, but can have the memory of how much he was loved and respected by the very large Plumstead and Chelsea "families" too.
An honour to have known you Garry.

Sorry I couldn’t make it to pay my respects, got back into the country too late from honeymoon, my thoughts were with family and friends, when we were flying, I saw a great beam of sun light and I guessed it was you Gary on your way up.
You were a true Gent, and you had time for everyone in PD, so much respect for you from us all.
You will be solely missed but never forgotten.

Sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A truly fantastic friend and colleague.
Garry was the most caring, thoughtful, kind and generous man who saw the positives in everything and everyone he met.
Never angry or complaining (often confused by the computer), but a genuinely nice man who helped anyone that needed anything.
A true family man who constantly talked about the family he adored. I remember his massive grin when showing me his daily photos and videos of Rocco and Henry - his pride and joy!
He would cheekily 'steal' my pens for his collection and always make the office laugh amongst the chaos he often caused.
Garry, I will remember you always.
You never did get to go to the wedding that you always asked about!!
Sad to say that your 'still breathing' saying has come to an end and I am a better person for knowing you for the past 16 years.
Miss you loads ..... Rip Garry xxxxx
