Alan Warner (5 Jun 1960 - 3 Jan 2015)

Alan, a true friend who never ever lost sight of what was important in life. A very special,loving, creative and caring man who has left us with many happy memories to sustain us in the years to come. We will miss our pal Al but his warmth and generosity will remain in our hearts forever .

What a wonderful man and friend not one memory I have of Alan is sad or without laughter, the world is a sadder/duller place without him in it. I will miss you loads and cannot imagine never seeing your smiling face again which lit up any room with that mischievous glint in your eye. My love and thoughts are with Ant, his family and close friends at this very sad time. Love you Alan xx

Every time I had a problem and needed a moan you were always there to listen. You never judged and I always felt happier leaving than when I arrived. You will never be replaced

Alan will be dearly missed. Such as funny man who never missed an opportunity to put a smile on your face and with that kind of magnetic personality that seemed to arrive in the room before he did. You'll truly be missed by all. Deepest and sincere condolences to his close friends and family and all that new and loved him.

I was so sad to hear the news about Alan. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with him over the past couple of years and will really miss his warmth and funny stories. Rest in peace, Alan x

Working with Alan was a privilege and a pleasure. I still can't believe that l will not be in his company again...crying with laughter. Every memory of alan we have is special. Our condolences go to his family, friends and colleagues. Lots of love xx

So many memories of Alan, too many to note. However they all have laughter, hilarity, craziness and some strong language. He has been a great part of our lives and loved every minute of working with him - no office is the same without Alan. We would like to send our condolences to all his family. Our lovely, sweet, funny, kind Alan...... we miss him so much... He brought great fun and joy to the Penna Birmingham office. Will always remember his singing, dancing and of course, his legendary magic act at the Christmas Fuddle! He will always be in our hearts.

I was at Hallcroft School with Alan and later we worked together at Granada Motorway Services. We kept in touch for a while after I left and I always wondered about him and what he was doing with his life. He was a really genuine, lovely, warm, funny guy and I loved him to bits. So sorry he's gone. Only the good die young.

There are not enough words to describe my great friend Alan as he was a giant of a man with a big heart, fabulous sense of humour and a unique sense of fun. I was fortunate to work with him for many years and feel proud and priveleged to call him my friend.
I am heartbroken as most people who knew him will be. And days without Alan will be sad and very quiet ones! But every memory is a bright shining one and makes me smile and laugh through the tears.
My deepest condolences to his lovely partner Ant and his family. He didn't get enough quantity of life but I am comforted knowing he had great quality, as he lived to the full and fortunately I got to share in it.

We are making this donation to Maggie's on behalf of our dear friend and colleague Alan Warner. Alan was loved by everyone here and will be sadly missed. The fight to cure Cancer and all those who support those fighting it need our help.

My sincere condolences to all Alan's family and friends. Alan was indeed a true and loyal friend to so many, and brought a huge amount of happiness all around him. I will miss him as one such friend, but know that there are many who are lucky enough to have longer and closer experiences and memories of him. These memories will live on, Alan, and we all thank you for enriching our lives.
