Peacefully at home on June 27th, aged 69 years, Mary Elizabeth (nee Palmer). The much loved mam of Terri, Christopher and Kayleigh. The wonderful mother-in-law of James. The special nanna of Corey, Hallie and Lewis. The fun loving partner in crime of Shauna and a dear friend to many. Friends please meet for service on Tuesday July 10th in Sunderland Crematorium at 1:00pm. All are welcome afterwards to The Burn, Houghton-le-Spring for refreshments. By request of the family, no black clothing to be worn. Flowers welcome or donations will be received for the work of the Lupus Trust. A donation box will be available at the crematorium. Mam... I canāt beleive that Iām having to write this, it still doesnāt feel real that you are gone, nothing in the world could have prepared me for this emotional pain Iām feeling knowing Iām never gonna see you again, I have constant tears and the heavy pain in my chest is unbearable, I canāt begin to tell you how much I love you and how proud I am to call you Mam, you were by far the strongest woman I ever knew, I miss you so bloody much itās tearing me apart, knowing I canāt ever smell you, cuddle you, kiss you and wake up every morning to no txts saying āMorning Mrs Womanā is breaking my heart..
I miss your little face, the sound of ur stairlift, your little wiggly toes, your humour, giving you shocks everyday and everything else that you were!
If I knew the last time I saw you that this was gonna happen I promise I would have held you and never ever let go, there are literally no words to describe how much you were loved ...
Iām so sorry about all of our silly fights and arguments, but I need you to know from the bottom of my heart that you were the most important person in my whole life, and always will be...
I hope that your pain free and happy wherever you are, and please watch over me and reassure me that everything is gonna be ok, because at the minute I donāt think Iām gonna cope without you ..
Iāve seen you struggle so much over the last few years and if I could have taken your place I would have in a heart beat, Iām so sorry that I couldnāt take that away from you š¢
