Surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness, in the Laurel’s Care Home on May 18th aged 94 years, Henry (Harry). A much loved father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather and a dear friend to many. Friends please meet on Monday June 11th for service in St Michael and All Angels Parish Church, Houghton-Le-Spring at 1:30pm. Committal to follow in Durham crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to the Masonic Hall, Hetton-Le-Hole for refreshments. Family flowers only. Donations if so desired to Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Harry has been a friend and neighbour for many years, I will miss the cups of tea ginger snaps and putting the world to right on a Sunday afternoon,love and miss you Pauline ,Colin David and Matthew.x

We mourn the loss of a brave and valiant Veteran who served throughout the Second World War continuously from Egypt to Austria with distinction: as will many who had the privilege to enjoy his friendship and company within the greater Masonic Family. He lived respected and died regretted RIP Harry..............
