I am still in shock at the loss of such a wonderful person and my heart is broken for Gillian’s family. I have experienced some of the best times of my life with Gillian. We climbed the Inca Trail in Peru, walked The Great Wall of a China and went down into the Grand Canyon. We even jumped out of a plane together above Las Vegas. You had a permanent smile and killer giggle and I will nhave very forget them! You were so kind and generous, I loved every minute I spent with you. Thank you for taking me under your wing when I was out of my depth and teaching me acceptance of everyone even when you didn’t really like them!! We have truly lost an angel. I might not have seen you for a few years but I will always hold you close to my heart. All healed now and you have your wings. Goodnight my beautiful friend xx

So so sad Gillian was a wonderful person who we have known 30 years. She was active and left all of us behind in her fitness. All of her visits to Uganda just show what a great person she was. She has gone through a lot in her lifetime and everyone thought she was on the up. So so sorry she didn't make it. Lots of love to Ted Stacey and grandkids. She will be missed incredibly xxxxx

Gillian Ellis - never never thought I would be writing this! Thank you so much for all the incredible times we have shared, camping in the canyon looking at those stars at night, those bloody car boot sales and poor ted having no clothes left in his wardrobe and those golf clubs we thought we would never sell ha ha, Vegas and many many more lovely memories I will treasure forever. So gutted we never got that catch up! No sky diving up there mind! Love always Gillian.
Gone but never forgotton - Amazing woman you touched so many people with your kindness and love for life xxxxxxx all my love Julie, Nigel, Arthur and Annabel xxxxxxxx
