In loving memory of the late Patrick John McGurk who sadly passed away on 10th November 2014.
Born, 12th May 1943 in Middlesbrough and lived his early life there. Attending St Joseph's junior school and then St Mary's College before joining the armed forces and moving onto travel the world with the Army.
Eventually after leaving the Army Patrick began civvy life as an HV driver which he continued until retirement.
An ardent golfer who played when ever possible and made lots of friends and playing partners at Sandiacre GC. He enjoyed numerous trips away to play different courses and I'm sure he shared this love of the game with his golfing fraternity.
Patricks family meant a great deal to him and it showed in many ways especially when real help was needed.
Sadly he has left us all now but will remain in our thoughts and minds for ever. RIP
Colin
