Rosy MAGUIRE
Sadly passed away on 26th January 2018 aged 59 years.
Deeply missed by all of her family and friends.
The funeral service will take place on Thursday 22nd February 2018 at Southampton Crematorium, East Chapel at 2.00 pm.

So, I am just looking up some of the people who inspired me and am shocked to find that Rosie is no longer with us. Rosie was so supportive of me during my degree at Southampton as she was with all of the students. My thoughts are with all of her loved ones. x

This portait I made of Rosy is at every exhibition of my illustrations, which all have been dedicated to her lovely memory. She gave us so many smiles and joy. I think about her every week. When cumbia plays, I cry, but I also feel joy at having met her.

It was so sad to hear about Rosy's passing and even now I feel sad at the thought of such a lovely, friendly and talented lady no longer bringing light to the world the way she did. I knew Rosy through the photography workshop she gave me at Solent and through her talks she gave on her amazing work which only helped make the world a more beautiful place. I'll never forget how nice she was to me and how welcome she made me feel in a uni that I felt so isolated and alone in. I hope she's somewhere nice and peaceful now spreading the same happiness and light she did in life.
