In loving memory of Marian Bexon (Parker) who sadly passed away on 14th January 2018.
Wife of Gerald for over 65 years and sister to Ann. A giver of life to 6 children, 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Lived all her life in Carlton, Nottingham: Second Avenue, Southlea Road, Morello Avenue, Forester Grove and Millbrook Drive.
Attended St Cyprians and St Pauls churches. Active in the community, Richard Herrod Centre, various community centres and a regular at the Costa’s coffee club in the city.
A zest for travel and adventure, visiting family in Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, West Berlin (first ever flight) Germany, Lithuania, Sweden, along with holidays in Italy, Belgium, Holland and the length and breadth of the UK. Scotland and Bournemouth (honeymoon) being her two favorite locations.
The family request that donations to Haywood House, run by Macmillan Cancer support be made instead of flowers. Donations can be sent direct to A.W.Lymn at Harrod House, Church Street, Carlton, Nottingham, NG4 4QH, on-line with gift aid at www.lymn.co.uk/obituaries or passed at the funeral. Lymn’s will collect and record all donations on behalf of the family.

I would like to express my sincere thanks for all the messages of condolence and sympathy you have so kindly sent since the passing of Marian. Your thoughts have been comforting and helpful as I start this long path of life without my Marian. I would also like to thank you for your generous donations to Hayward House, funding that is much needed to provide a level of care, comfort and support to the many families that go through such an ordeal as we have had to face these past few months.

Well done to Jessica and Jodie for their beautifully spoken words.
I always considered Marian to be like a Scarborough sister , she and our mum Joan seemed closer than an aunt and niece.
Nice to catch up with family members at the Willowbrook and especially lovely to meet up with Ann and family after a gap of too many years.

Marion, you were always such a big part of our lives and we are forever grateful for that. You were the person who kept in touch with Mum, keeping her included in her English family which meant so much to her and never forgetting to send your wishes for birthdays, anniversaries and at Christmas time. The trip you and Gerald made to Australia to visit Mum will always be treasured by us and also organising a family catch up when we visited was much appreciated.
Our thoughts and love are with you all today.
