Peacefully in hospital on October 24th surrounded by his loving family aged 82 years, George. A treasured dad of Michael, Janet, Wendy and Diane. A much loved father-in-law of Karen, Chris, Paul and David. A cherished grandad Geordie of Michael, Gary, Andrew, Paul, Lisa, Jemma, Dalton and Leanne. A devoted great grandad of Keira, Mia, Ellie-May, Evelyn, Adonia, Sabaean, Romalli, Jack, Masie, Lawson and Jenny. A loving Brother, uncle and a good friend to many. Friends please meet on Wednesday November 1st for service in Sunderland Crematorium at 2.30pm. All are welcome afterwards to Houghton Town Bowls Club for refreshment. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if so desired to Cancer Research UK. A collection plate will be provided at the crematorium.
